Michelle Beauchesne has played cello since age seven, soloing with orchestras and winning competitions early in her career. At seventeen, she earned a full scholarship to the St. Louis Conservatory, later continuing her studies at the New England Conservatory, HARID, and the American Conservatory in Fontainebleau, France.
Her career spans major classical institutions, performing with the Florida Philharmonic, Palm Beach Opera, Berkeley Symphony, and as principal cellist for the Bolshoi Ballet's American Tour. Michelle has performed with iconic figures including Leonard Bernstein, Isaac Stern, Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli, Natalie Cole, and MANA, with whom she made her MTV Unplugged debut.
Expanding beyond classical roots, Michelle has performed live and worked closely with producer and musician Sean McCue, who has produced all of her albums, including their collaboration on After the Fire.
